As Corporate Leasing Specialist, Joel assumes the pivotal role of overseeing all leasing operations for the company's diverse portfolio of properties. In this role, Joel is entrusted with the formulation of strategic initiatives, the implementation of rental rate structures, and the adept guidance of leasing teams in their daily endeavors.
Joel commenced his tenure with Centurion in early 2023, during which time the portfolio has achieved a stabilized average occupancy rate of 96%, complemented by sustained year-over-year increments in rental rates that surpass market averages.
Drawing upon a robust foundation in both sales and property management, Joel has demonstrated notable achievements, including previously orchestrating over $3 million in advertising and product sales.
With a keen eye for market trends and a knack for innovation, Joel consistently explores new avenues to optimize leasing strategies which in turn enhance returns for Centurion and its key stakeholders. His strategic acumen, combined with a customer-centric approach, not only propels the firm's success but also fortifies Centurion's standing as a leader in the student housing industry.
Juan Jose Platas
Investor Relations & Equity Strategy
In his capacity as Investor Relations & Equity Strategy, Juan oversees all investor relations functions and processes at Centurion. He serves as the primary liaison for investors, providing updates on property performance, investment opportunities, and market insights.
Within this role, Juan also assumes the responsibility of compiling quarterly investor reports and aids the firm in its overarching fundraising initiatives and strategies.
Juan holds a degree in Economics from the University of Miami and commenced his career in real estate by investing in single-family residences in South Florida. Transitioning to the role of an Acquisitions Analyst at a private-equity hotel group in 2018, he played a pivotal role in the acquisition of over 15 hotels, totaling an investment exceeding $250 million within a three-year span.
Joining Centurion in 2021, Juan brings to the table a robust real estate background and a fervor for identifying and leveraging investment opportunities. Presently, he occupies a central role in cultivating trust and assurance among the firm's investors, thereby facilitating sustained growth for the firm.
Fernando Tamayo
Administrative Controller
As Administrative Controller, Fernando assumes responsibility for supervising all accounting and bookkeeping affairs within the firm and across its property portfolio. In this capacity, Fernando is also entrusted with managing all communications with the firm's external Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), as well as ensuring compliance with tax and insurance regulations.
Additionally, Fernando oversees all lender communications and investor payments while also contributing to strategic decision-making aimed at delivering superior investor returns.
With over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting, Fernando plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, thereby contributing to overall business performance.
Fernando previously earned his bachelor's degree in accounting and served as an accountant at various firms. He joined Centurion in 2022, bringing with him a comprehensive knowledge of accounting practices, financial reporting, and cash management.
Greg King
Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Greg is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business strategies for each asset, which includes supervising management teams, managing capital projects, and optimizing performance with a primary focus on the bottom line. With over eight years of experience in property management, Greg possesses a wealth of expertise in asset management, portfolio oversight, budgeting, performance evaluation, and team leadership. Previously, Greg held the position of Regional Supervisor at Asset Living, the largest third-party student housing operator in the country, where he directly managed operations for more than 3,000 beds of student housing, covering class A, value-add, and distressed assets. In this role, he actively participated in the acquisition process for new business, conducted comprehensive underwriting for potential assets, and formulated detailed marketing plans for significant rebranding initiatives.
To ensure he remains informed about market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory shifts impacting the student housing sector, Greg actively engages as a member of both the NAAEI-RPM Careers Committee and the NAAEI Advocate Committee. Moreover, he serves as a Student Housing Insight Ambassador, enriching his understanding of the industry and expanding his professional network

Managing Partner
As Managing Partner of Centurion Property Group, Aldo assumes responsibility for overseeing the firm's portfolio of assets. He collaborates with property teams to devise individual strategies, ensuring their subsequent implementation with a steadfast focus on optimizing profitability and delivering consistent investor returns.
In addition to his operational leadership, Aldo directs the analysis and due diligence processes for potential investment opportunities, ensuring their alignment with the company's stringent investment criteria. Within this capacity, he cultivates and sustains relationships with key stakeholders, including major industry brokers, lenders, and sellers.
Aldo earned his BBA in Economics, complemented by minors in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami. Furthermore, he holds several real estate-specific certifications, including those in Commercial Real Estate and Hospitality Management from Cornell University, Commercial Real Estate Investment & Analysis from MIT, and Hospitality & Tourism Management from FAU, among others.
Aldo Facchi Sr.
Managing Partner
As Managing Partner of Centurion Property Group, Mr. Facchi directs his efforts on establishing strategic partnerships, nurturing capital relationships, and cultivating the Centurion team.
From 1998 to 2013, Mr. Facchi devoted his time to wholesale manufacturing and distributing home appliances across Latin America. During this period, he represented renowned brands such as Sony, Sharp, and Premium, achieving sales figures nearing $1 billion.
In 2001, Mr. Facchi embarked on passive real estate investments across various asset classes in the United States. Through his wholly-owned investment company, "Facchi Investment Group," he engaged in diverse investments including hotels, warehouses, multifamily apartments, office buildings, and student housing.
In 2011, he transitioned to actively participating in the investment and operational aspects of hospitality assets. Since then, he has held ownership stakes and director positions in over 30 hotels situated across the Southeastern United States.
Presently, Mr. Facchi is fully committed to investing in student housing assets and spearheading the expansion of the Centurion Property Group platform.

As Portfolio Manager, Adam brings over three years of experience in the student housing industry to his role as Portfolio Manager at Centurion Property Group. With a proven track record in optimizing team performance, achieving top-tier net operating income, and leading successful property rebranding and renovation projects, Adam is a dynamic leader focused on operational excellence and growth.
Prior to joining Centurion, Adam honed his expertise at Asset Living, where he demonstrated an exceptional ability to drive results across various markets and property classes. His diverse experience includes evaluating and managing assets of varying sizes and complexities, making him well-equipped to oversee Centurion's expanding portfolio.
Adam earned his Bachelor of Science degree from lowa State University, providing a strong academic foundation for his professional achievements. In his role at Centurion Property Group, Adam is committed to enhancing operational efficiency, fostering innovation, and contributing to the company's continued success.

He is responsible for addressing tenant inquiries, analyzing market trends to inform strategic pricing, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and collaborating with internal tears to uphold high living standards. His commitment to understanding and meeting the unique needs of student tenants has positioned him as a key asset to Centurion Property Group, contributing to increased occupancy rates and overall tenant satisfaction.
Milton has built a distinguished career in real estate with a specialized focus on leasing. He possesses in-depth expertise in student, residential, and commercial leasing, with a strong background in lease negotiations, tenant representation, landlord consultations, and property management. His strategic approach to leasing is driven by market insights and customer service, enabling him to secure favorable terms for all parties involved.
